I’ve been writing songs since before I can remember. It started with just singing about what I saw while we were driving places in the car when I was very young. At 10 years old a friend an I recorded a tape that had two songs, something about Firefly Rock… can’t quite remember. I would give anything for that tape today, but needless to say nothing came of it, otherwise you would’ve heard of me – or at least heard my music! Which you haven’t, I can almost guarantee that because only a handful of people have.

I am so hopelessly shy and un-self-assured that I have performed in public a sum total of four times and self published (read: recorded on a cassette player – yes, that’s my vintage) only for a small number of close friends. But I have this well of music that floods, a damn that bursts, a veritable tsunami! And over time I’ve realized that songwriting is not something everyone can do, so I’m going to try and share my music with the world in the most easy, most copping-out kind of way.

I’m really only just beginning to learn the art of songwriting in a formal sense, so bear with me. I will share my raw songs from over the past 20+ years, as well as songs that are a bit more polished now that I am learning the “art” (actually the methodology and formulae) of songwriting (but unfortunately not the Firefly Rock which is now lost to the sands of time).
