The labour pains of creation

Honestly, I have no idea what labour pains feel like; I have two children and the first one arrived at 36 weeks and 3 days gestation via c-section and the second was delivered after 3 days of labour, but the entire labour was the burden of my beloved partner. I’m willing to bet labour pains are absolutely nothing like the annoying inconvenience of trying to work on a creative project with very little progress… but I want to ensure I keep posting, so here’s a little snippet of the production work going on right now. The first verse and chorus with a little piano and strings accompaniment. The rest of the song requires the work to be edited in, plus I don’t want to slaughter anyone with repeat after repeat of the same song. So, here’s the limited progress I’ve made since last week.
